Single Vertebra from Greenland Right whale (date unknown)

Little is known about this vertebra from a whale, but it was most likely brought back from a whaling voyage. Perhaps ironically for a product of whaling, the vertebra was used as a butcher's chopping block, which wasn’t uncommon for such bones.
